TikTok hits over $1 billion e-commerce GMV in H1

Asian Tech Press (Aug 11) -- Short video platform TikTok hit over $1 billion in e-commerce GMV in the first half of the year.

TikTok's e-commerce business has exceeded $1 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) in the first half of 2022, which is comparable to its volume in the full year of 2021.

In particular, the average monthly GMV in the Indonesian market reached $200 million, and $24 million in the UK.

This year, TikTok's e-commerce team has also set a goal of achieving $47 billion in GMV in five years.
