Asian Tech Press -- Chinese automaker BYD Co Ltd (BYDDF: OTC US) may supply blade batteries to Tesla Inc., a source said.

According to an exclusive Chinese media report, a reporter learned from a number of sources that BYD will soon supply blade batteries to Tesla in the second quarter of next year.

Currently Tesla models with blade batteries have entered the C sample testing stage.

In this regard, BYD said, "No comment", while Tesla did not respond.
