Qualcomm is willing to invest if SoftBank takes Arm public instead of selling to Nvidia

According to media reports, Nvidia's $40 billion deal to acquire chip architecture provider Arm has attracted opposition from multiple parties, including its co-founder Hermann Hauser, Qualcomm, and Intel, since the deal was announced in September last year.

Qualcomm CEO-Elect Cristiano Amon, who will officially take office on June 30, recently said they are willing to invest in Arm if its owner SoftBank Group considers taking Arm public instead of selling it to Nvidia. (TechWeb)
