Asian Tech Press (July 11) -- Intel Corp. CEO Pat Gelsinger will visit TSMC in August to revise production plans for 3nm chips, sources said.
Intel originally planned to mass produce its 14th generation Meteor Lake processors at the end of 2022 and launch it in the first half of 2023, but now there was news that it would be delayed to the end of 2023.
As a foundry for Intel's graphics processing units (GPUs), TSMC's plans for the 3nm process will be affected.
